Proper invoices for what you sell online
Whether the order comes from your own page, a marketplace listing or a repeat customer's DM, the invoice you issue carries the same information the BIR requires. On Business and Firm, invoices and expenses also feed the six Books of Accounts.
Built for
- ✓Sellers who take orders through their own website or social media
- ✓Sellers listed on online marketplaces and delivery apps
- ✓Home-based and small-batch sellers moving from notebooks or spreadsheets
- ✓Anyone tagging a sale as "Online" instead of a walk-in transaction
What you get
Sales Invoices carrying RR 11-2024 information
Under RR 11-2024, implementing the EOPT Act, the Invoice — not the old Official Receipt — is the primary document for both goods and services. Every invoice carries the information required by RR 7-2024, as amended, whether the sale happened online or at a counter.
A Channel field for how the sale happened
Tag each invoice as Walk-in or Online so your records show how a sale came in, without pretending the software connects to any specific marketplace or storefront it doesn't.
A serial series that behaves
Running numbers with leading zeroes, from the range you declared. Voids are recorded and never reused. Reprints are marked as reprints — useful when a buyer asks for their invoice again after checkout.
Books that stay current, not reconstructed in April
On Business, every invoice and expense you enter feeds your six Books of Accounts automatically, so an order-heavy month doesn't turn into a backlog later.
Questions online sellers ask
Does eInvoicePH connect to my online store or marketplace account?
No. eInvoicePH does not import orders from any marketplace, storefront or delivery app. You (or your staff) enter each sale, tag it as Online or Walk-in, and the invoice is generated from there.
I sell online — am I covered by the e-invoicing mandate?
E-commerce sellers other than Micro taxpayers are one of the categories the mandate names, but whether it applies to you turns on your registration and classification, not on the fact that you sell online. Ask your accountant or your RDO.
Do I need a different invoice for online sales versus walk-in sales?
No — one invoice format, carrying the same required information either way. The Channel field just records how the sale came in for your own reporting.
Can I use it if I'm Non-VAT?
Yes. Set your status once and every invoice, report and export follows it.
Curious about the e-invoicing mandate specifically? See who's covered and the countdown to the issuance deadline.
eInvoicePH is invoicing and bookkeeping software built to the invoice content rules of RR 11-2024 and the system-registration route of RMO 9-2021. It does not connect to or import from any online store, marketplace or delivery app, and it is not a BIR-accredited EIS provider — it does not transmit invoices to the BIR's Electronic Invoicing System. This page is general information, not tax or legal advice; requirements vary by RDO and by your registration.
